EDUCATION
Dr. Yemi Akande is an entrepreneurial leader, people and organizational strategist, and educational advocate with almost 30 years of leadership, service, and travel across the globe. Her philosophy is anchored in the belief and practice that advances are made with a firm step, not waiting until the perfect conditions arise but rather channeling one’s talents, experiences, and grit to embark on the extraordinary.
In her role with CSL Initiative for School Transformation, Dr. Akande bolsters the learning and development efforts and needs of up to 25 schools across three states by building a collaborative, vibrant ecosystem of nine national professional learning partners to ultimately improve student achievement.
In the educational arena, Dr. Akande has developed and facilitated learning and development programs & solutions for over a thousand learners, serving all organizational levels across multiple states. She has also worked on improving education through legislative advocacy, specifically for the inclusion of neurodiverse learners.
Dr. Akande has directly founded several non-profit and for-profit organizations, empowering people, teams, entities and communities to transform their worlds. Given her experiences and life work, she has consulted with many small to large entities to include a national organization with over a billion dollars in annual revenue with the goal of transforming their employee life cycle.
