CSL develops collaborative solutions tailored for multiple school districts by working in concert with district leaders and/or state educational officials to address various human capital or school culture challenges identified by the participating entities.

Arkansas School Districts
in the Mississippi Delta

The Center’s multi-district collaborative solutions are crafted in collaboration with the leaders of two or more school districts—or state educational leaders—who wish to tackle one or more human capital or discipline-specific challenges. Because no two districts or schools are alike, CSL draws from its broad and deep array of team members, partners, subject matter experts, and tools to build custom solutions tailored to each specific community’s needs. These solutions span CSL’s work from performance-driven human capital management to professional learning and engagement of dynamic communities. Current custom projects in Arkansas, Michigan, and Tennessee include:

  • The Arkansas Consortium Harnessing Innovation, Equity & Verifiable Excellence (The ACHIEVE Initiative): A collaboration between CSL and five rural public school districts across the Mississippi Delta to increase student learning and graduation rates by improving educator effectiveness.   • The CSL Literacy Initiative: A custom multi-district solution crafted by CSL in collaboration with school districts in the rural Mississippi Delta region to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively deploy the science of reading in the classroom and foster parental and community engagement.
