Through the Leaders Investing in Future Teachers Initiative CSL is working in collaboration with the, Mount Clemens Community Schools, Oakland Schools Charter Network, Ecourse Public Schools, Taylor Public Schools  and Hazel Park Schools. The project’s goals include strengthening student learning by recruiting and supporting the professional growth of a dynamic educator workforce—in part through creating a best-in-class human capital management system.

Academic partners in this project include Wayne State University, the Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation at Voorhees University (an HBCU), The Oakland University’s Initiative to Eradicate Racism, and Harvard University Strategic Data Project.

Additional partners include the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, and In Demand, a local nonprofit that recruits men of color to be teachers.
