Teresa Davis has more than twenty years’ experience as a chief financial officer and superintendent, including leading a school district to financial stability and academic improvement that had been placed under state oversight due to an $8 million deficit.

She deploys these skills and experience to plan and manage CSL’s financial and administrative health. In this role Teresa supervises CSL’s accounting, information technology, human resources, and employee benefits.

In her previous roles as a pre-K-12 public schools superintendent Teresa focused on the goal of improving students’ academic achievement while ensuring that every audit received the highest opinion—unqualified. Teresa inspired staff, motivated students, built relationships with parents, and maintained alliances with community and business leaders to help schools survive and thrive.

At financially distressed school districts, she also worked tirelessly with state officials to create plans to get their finances under control—all while maintaining and improving academic programs.
