After working as a firefighter and trainer, Ryan served for more than 25 years in a variety of diverse school districts as a teacher, building leader, and central administrator. As Superintendent of Eastpointe (Michigan) Community Schools, Ryan successfully developed and implemented comprehensive systems for district reconfiguration including performance management, talent management, intense student support, teacher collaborative routines, and instructional leadership.
