EDUCATION
For almost three decades, Dr. Campbell has served as a school administrator, instructional coach, mentor, professor, and elementary classroom teacher. She has spent her professional career seeking to help build capacity in educators, in an effort to ultimately increase student achievement.
The goal of Linda’s CSL professional development work is to help teachers use data as a tool to take down poverty and foster improvement and growth focused on student success. This work also includes giving teachers access to consistent, high quality professional development and support to increase their teacher leadership skills.
Previously, Linda was an elementary teacher, assistant principal, and principal. She has a proven track record of building positive and nurturing school cultures, while helping to raise the academic achievement of the students. Endeavoring to positively impact more pre-service teachers, she became an Associate Professor at Union University.
Linda has worked to foster and maintain partnerships between institutions of higher learning and the local school districts, in order to promote the recruitment and retention of effective teachers. She has published articles, and has presented at local, state, national and international conferences.
